A versatile artist in many techniques, Lisel Salzer devoted much of her life to reviving painting with fused glass on copper-the 16th century technique of Limoges enamel. Her video, made in 1986, shows how she developed her interpretation of Limoges enamel and illustrates each step in the creation of a portrait. She shows her other subjects, too, such as landscapes, flowers and animals. The 20th Anniversary DVD includes her award, the Gold Cross. Read the transcript online.
