Artist's commentary: It took me almost a year of preparation to get back to the color lithography as I had practiced it in San Jose. Seattle's color litho workshops had all but vanished, and at the UW the presses' handles had been removed and the stones stored away. The creatures that animated my drawings and prints would not rest, though! This one harkens to my awakening interest in Edvard Munch and the Living Treasure from his era, Rolf Nesch.
