Artist's comment: Patrick, Carole’s husband, bought the press for her as a surprise Christmas gift. She has been acquainting herself with Bill’s ideas since 2001, and was a frequent visitor to his demos at Daniel Smith Inc. Bill met Patrick November 12 at DSI, and then again at the studio to choose a Halfwood for Carole. Carole is active in the printmaking community and she is a member of Seattle Print Arts.
