1984: A snapshot of me pulling another proof from my new plate, a copper engraving. It's lines are barely visible against the background of the first color--an impression from a collagraph plate in sanguine-colored ink. |
Of course I'm printing on the Century Halfwood Press, the first press I designed and built . Later, I'd printed another proof, this time with a blue first plate and another sanguine-inked engraved plate. |
